Cabin Rental Description
“Time Well Wasted” is a wonderful 1 bedroom cabin in the heart of The Preserve Resort. With a sleeping capacity of 6 people, this beautiful cabin offers modern stainless steel appliances, pool table, foosball table. The incredible Smoky Mountain Views from the deck can be enjoyed from one of our rocking chairs or in the comfort of a relaxing hot tub.
Cabin layout:
You will enter the first level (with only two steps) into the fully-equipped kitchen with its granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area, adjacent to the kitchen, can easily seat six for memorable family meals. The spacious living room is next with its leather sleeper-sofa and loveseat, stacked-stone fireplace, large screen TV (Comcast Cable Service). Behind the living room is the enclosed king sized bedroom (with a new 32" flat screen TV) and private full-bath. Outside the living room is a full-length wooden deck with rockers for your enjoyment and a charcoal barbeque grill.
Upstairs on the second level, you discover a spacious game room loft area featuring a pool table, Queen size bed, new 39" flat screen TV and another full-bathroom with shower and jetted jacuzzi bathtub. There is another full wooden deck outside this level, complete with big, bubbling hot tub and more rockers. Above the bathroom on the second level is a unique "crow's nest" area that the children will love. This spot (crow's nest) has two futons.
The views from this cabin are spectacular! You have full use of the resort amenities, too, which include a fantastic outdoor pool and hot tub (in-season use), a fitness facility, and a relaxing sauna room. The chapel at the resort, a spacious pavilion and meeting rooms are available for rent also if you are planning a wedding or family event. We can help coordinate any of these.

Anjie Crow - 08/26/2014The cabin was very clean, and it is greatly appreciated that you allow dogs! My one suggestion would be to have the maintenance man drive be each cabin before sunset to ensure no trash is left outside and that all metal bins have the chain loop secure. Having bears roaming around at 6:30 p.m. is a little frightening when you're trying to walk your dogs. Also maybe have a fenced-in area where dogs can run off-leash so that they are their humans don't need to worry about bears. I understand we were in the mountains and share the space with bears, but I think those are two things you can do to increase guests' satisfaction. Nice view, too! The reservation guarantee is 7% of your total reservation and enables you to receive a full refund, less the cost of the guarantee, up to 15 days prior to your arrival for a 1 to 5 bedroom cabin, and up to 60 days prior to arrival for 6 bedrooms and larger. Once inside those time periods the reservation guarantee would allow you to reschedule your stay. Though the deposit guarantee is an optional charge, Hearthside has a no refund/no reschedule policy without it.
*Rescheduled stays will have 6 months to come and must stay in the original cabin booked.
